The SP Sport 8000 is ideal for high performance sports cars and sporty coupes. Like all summer tyres it is not intended to be driven in near freezing temperatures or through snow and ice.

Its directional tread pattern offers all out performance and handling plus quiet ride comfort. To maximise wet handling confidence and resist hydroplaning the SP sport 8000 s wide circumferentail grooves have been designed with nearly vertical walls. This square shape maintains the tyres outstanding wet performance right up to the final stages of tread wear.

To provide exceptional dry steering ability the tread pattern has extremely rigid blocks. These blocks greatly reduce tread squirm and distortion, offering a high degree of control during hard cornering.
